The “2024 Blue Book High Jewelry” collection is being presented in three phases: spring, summer, and autumn. Following the spring pieces showcased earlier in six chapters – “Wings,” “Arrow,” “Constellation,” “Iconic Star,” “Ray of Light,” and “Apollo” – the summer collection made its grand debut during an exclusive Tiffany high jewelry event held during Paris Haute Couture Week.
The new pieces are presented in three fresh chapters: “Peacock,” “Shooting Star,” and “Flames,” reimagining the cosmic realm envisioned by the brand’s legendary designer Jean Schlumberger.
Nathalie Verdeille, Tiffany & Co.’s Chief Artistic Officer of Jewelry and High Jewelry, stated: “This collection, with its boundless imagination, presents exquisite jewelry creations for those seeking a sense of cosmic existence. The eye-catching designs perfectly blend with the designer’s grand vision, jointly creating extraordinary pieces beyond compare.”
I. “Peacock” Theme
This theme draws inspiration from the dazzling feathers of peacocks, weaving a mythical ode to beauty. Throughout history, peacocks have been featured in numerous legends and myths, to the extent that European naturalists once believed them to be creatures of human imagination. The colorful plumage of peacocks never fails to inspire awe, much like the brilliant and beautiful gemstones such as tanzanites, green tourmalines, and diamonds that captivate the eye.
Among the jewelry pieces in this theme, a necklace set with 17 cushion-cut tanzanites particularly stands out. Additionally, an exquisitely diverse peacock brooch leaves a lasting impression, adorned with a cushion-cut tanzanite weighing over 13 carats.
II. “Shooting Star” Theme
This theme combines several of Jean Schlumberger’s iconic design elements, using classic star shapes and flowing ribbon designs to depict the dazzling trajectory of shooting stars across the sky.
In a diamond necklace set with amethysts totaling over 78 carats, the play of light and shadow in the gemstones is interpreted almost perfectly. Diamond-encrusted ribbons accented with golden elements encircle magnificent amethysts, intertwined with a row of diamonds, creating a cascading effect reminiscent of a breathtaking starry river.
III. “Flames” Theme
This theme draws inspiration from the “Flame” earrings in the “Jean Schlumberger” collection, which evoke solar flares, presenting a series of jewelry pieces set with brilliant diamonds.
A necklace crafted from platinum and 18K yellow gold, set with diamonds totaling over 53 carats, skillfully outlines the eye-catching, dancing form of flames. The centerpiece of the necklace is a dazzling 7-carat diamond, serving as the focal point of the entire piece.
Additionally, a pair of earrings set with fancy intense yellow diamonds totaling over 2 carats is equally captivating. Lively and charming diamonds surround the two yellow diamonds, resembling the brilliant, blooming flames of the sun.
