Masterpieces Reimagined: Boodles’ Stunning Jewelry Collection Inspired by Iconic Paintings

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of London’s National Gallery, renowned British jeweler Boodles has unveiled a new jewelry collection aptly named “National Gallery“. This collection follows a previous article about the brand titled “Boodles: A Top Jewelry Brand ‘Targeted by Thieves’ Both On and Off Screen!”

The new collection features 34 unique pieces, each drawing inspiration from famous artworks housed in the National Gallery. These include Monet’s “Water Lilies, Setting Sun” and Raphael’s “The Garvagh Madonna,” among others.

The collection is divided into four distinct themes:

01

“Play of Light”

This theme is inspired by Impressionist paintings. Several pieces in this series are influenced by Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s “Moulin Huet Bay,” recreating the colorful reflections in water through diamonds, colored sapphires, and tsavorites.

Two stunning pieces draw inspiration from Georges Seurat’s “The Morning Walk,” skillfully interpreted using colored sapphires and diamonds.

A pure diamond bracelet takes its cue from “Lake Keitele” by Akseli Gallen-Kallela, the designer of the Finnish flag.

Some exquisite pieces are inspired by Claude Monet’s famous “Water-Lilies, Setting Sun,” lavishly adorned with pink tourmaline, spinel, orange garnet, peridot, pink/orange sapphires, and diamonds.

A remarkable ring features a 15.52-carat Paraiba tourmaline, inspired by Claude Monet’s “Bathers at La Grenouillère.

02

“Brushstrokes”

This theme is inspired by the painting technique of French artist Paul Cézanne. Several pieces in this series draw from the blue and white tones in his classic work “Bathers,” interpreted through aquamarines and diamonds.

03

“Perspective”

The inspiration for this theme comes from the works of 18th-century Italian painter Canaletto. This Venetian master was known for his skillful use of perspective in depicting cityscapes, showcasing the unique charm of Venetian architecture.

04

“Motherhood”

The final theme draws inspiration from “The Garvagh Madonna” by Raphael, the Italian Renaissance painter.
