We’ve transformed into “bag testers” for this special mission, personally trying on and carrying the bags you’ve selected. We’ve considered factors like how they look when worn, practicality, and value for money to give you a comprehensive reference.

As LV’s blockbuster item, the Carryall undoubtedly takes first place. In recent years, LV has mastered the denim + monogram combination, from bag shape selection to monogram patterns and various denim colors.
Especially the new season’s “By The Poll” series – it’s simply overpowered!
We’ve written about it before, and after trying it on, I feel it’s more refreshing than the Remix series, perfect for summer. Denim baguette bags are so popular you’re likely to bump into someone with the same bag, so why not choose this Carryall? It’s equally versatile and stylish.
It pairs well with a Chanel-style dress like the model, or simply with a T-shirt and jeans. The shoulder strap is detachable and adjustable, allowing for shoulder carry, crossbody wear, or under-arm carry. It can also be hand-held.
The downside is that the cotton denim fabric may yellow and show dirt over time, but personally, I quite like this effect – it feels more street-style and relaxed!
It comes with a detachable zippered pouch inside, which is great for small items or as a coin purse – very practical!

The previously discontinued 31 Bag has returned almost unchanged, featuring Chanel’s signature elements: quilted pattern, double C logo, and leather chain.
Its horizontal briefcase shape doesn’t overwhelm your height even in larger sizes, and compared to other popular Chanel styles, it has a more scholarly air. No wonder it’s always a hot seller in vintage stores.
I tried on the new nano size, which uses a simple magnetic closure, while the small, medium, and large sizes retain the classic logo lock. There’s only one internal zip pocket, so I’d recommend adding an organizer. It can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody, and those with slim wrists can even carry it as a wristlet.
The denim version is most popular among celebrities. It’s great for daily commutes and can add a literary flair when paired with floral dresses. More importantly, it offers good value for money, being much cheaper than the leather versions!

The East-West bag shape has been trendy these past couple of years, and the Lady D-Joy from the Lady series has really taken off.
It retains the classic Lady Dior elements: cannage design, Dior charms, and top handle, but with a more elongated shape than the original square design. Upon entering the boutique, I immediately noticed that the actual bag looks just like the official photos – it can be both sweet and chic.
The bag comes with both a chain and a leather shoulder strap, offering multiple carrying options: hand-held, shoulder, or crossbody. You can also add cute charms like Hello Kitty’s unofficial ambassador, Jisoo. However, this bag is quite heavy on its own, so it might not be ideal for those who like to carry a lot of items.
As a classic design, this is a worthwhile investment piece among designer lambskin bags, likely to retain its value.

Besides the pleated design at the opening, the creative Donut Chain and curved leather handle allow for multiple carrying styles.
Made with Nappa lambskin, it feels luxurious to the touch. The price has now surpassed the $4,000 mark.

The Rodeo comes in three sizes: large, medium, and small, with color options limited to black, white, and gray. We’ve mentioned before that it initially resembles the Hermรจs Kelly, but once adorned with various quirky charms, it becomes unmistakably Balenciaga.
This bag is crafted from smooth calfskin, resulting in a soft and delicate leather texture. However, due to its larger size and thick leather, it’s quite heavy on its own.
If the basic model is already this weighty, one can only imagine how it feels with all those dangling charms attached – even regular weightlifters might struggle to carry it!
It features a lock closure, but due to the bag’s strong concave shape and deep base, items are unlikely to fall out even when left open.

This bag is made of suede, which has a grainy texture up close and seems like it would be a durable, wear-resistant commuter bag.
As a large bag, it can fit a 13-inch MacBook, maximizing its practicality. Available in black and brown, I tried on the black one. The relaxed shape makes it versatile enough to pair with casual styles as well.

The hobo bag becomes lighter when made with canvas, and the tote shape is quite practical, able to fit a 13-inch laptop. The shoulder strap and sides are full leather, with an embroidered logo that exudes quality. It embodies the Miu Miu literary style at first glance and feels comfortable for daily wear.
The overall light khaki and caramel color scheme brings a summer vibe, creating a relaxed and casual style when worn. You can accessorize it with a silk scarf, like Liu Haocun and Jang Won-young did, adding a touch of playfulness and personality with a patterned scarf.

The Lux Soft, often seen on Somi, is popular among stylish girls and has a millennial retro-modern vibe. However, the briefcase shape and the “belt” detail at the opening make it slightly style-specific and not as versatile for everyday use.
The waxed leather is durable and has a big advantage in rainy southern regions: it’s moisture-resistant! It’s not as delicate as regular cowhide bags; if it gets caught in the rain, you can just wipe it off and continue using it.
Its biggest advantage is its ultra-light weight! The medium size weighs about the same as a folding umbrella. The bag has circular edging on the four corners and support at the bottom, allowing it to stand upright when empty.
It comes in 3 sizes, with the medium size not overwhelming petite figures. In terms of capacity, it fully meets daily needs, able to fit an iPad mini and a folding umbrella with room for many small items. The zipper closure enhances security.

Among BV’s new releases, the Cittร stands out. The body of the bag uses a cowhide weaving technique, giving it a substantial feel in hand. Upon closer inspection, the bag’s texture has a wavy pattern, and combined with the shiny leather finish, it creates a strong visual impact.
This bag isn’t limited to shoulder carry. By adjusting the knots on the sides, you can shorten the shoulder strap for under-arm or hand-carry, which is quite innovative. However, this bag doesn’t have a lining, which might be inconvenient and requires careful handling to avoid scratches.

Lastly, we have the Victoire chain bag, a very Celine-esque unisex bag that looks stylish and cool when worn.
The golden Arc de Triomphe emblem is eye-catching as always. The classic flap design with push-lock closure, soft calfskin leather that balances the crisp lines, and a slightly rounded exterior reminiscent of a pillow bag all contribute to its appeal. It also has more capacity than typical chain bags.
The metal chain is adjustable, allowing for shoulder or crossbody wear. The simple design makes it easy to match with most styles.
A common concern is whether the chain will dig into the shoulder, but it’s generally fine unless you’re carrying many heavy items.
It also comes in brown, which has a gentle and elegant look, as seen on Zhang Jingyi.
IU was spotted carrying the monogram version, which exudes a sophisticated and elegant vibe.
